Default O2 sensor location for tune

Hey everyone getting my car tuned soon and need to know where to put my o2 sensors on a single turbo ls1 ,,there is bungs upstream on my headers but somebody was telling me i cant run them there and to put them in the down pipe ? Any info would be greatly appreciated ,,factory 2000 camaro ls1 computer, 24x 1x ...Thanks .....Josh

no one ? ive researched this with mixed reviews ,,anyone with experience on there ride making 1000 plus horsepower on facory pcm?

O2 sensors must be after the header collector, before any Y-pipe, because the PCM uses separate fuel control for each bank, so it needs to read AFR from the bank it's supposed to be (left or right).

Install them where the exhaust gases aren't too hot
