Default 2002 engine harness and pcm into a 98 car question

Im picking up a 98 trans am as a roller. The car I am swapping everything over from is my 2002 trans am. I want to use my PCM and engine harness out of my 2002 into the 98. What all needs to be done as far as re pinning the harness if we go this route or is it only if you stick the 1999+ PCM's in the 98 harness you have to repin? Will my 1999+ engine harness and PCM have any issues with the body harness of the 98 car?

Default

Unless your 98 harness is in bad shape it is easier to repin the pcm connectors for the 02 pcm and be done. You can use the 02 harness but the connectors going into the dash are different.
