Just wondering if any one here is using Ubuntu OS for there tuning laptop/net book? I just picked up an used Think Pad from my buddy's IT company. Id rather just use ubuntu vs windows if its possible. Something other than just dual booting?? I searched but only found one thread from 2009.

I've had success using VirtualBox and running in seamless mode but it's still running Windoze so most of the time I just boot that.

It'd be great if it could just run native.

I read where a person had a windoze virtual enviroment running in Linux and was running HP Tuners. Don't know if they used Wine or what...

It'd be nice so we would not have to rely on our corporate rented copies.
