Default gauges and codes

On my trans am we've got the hot wire for my aftermarket gauges on the PCM IGN fuse. Its a small 15 amp fuse under the hood and I'm also throwing a code for a ground. I'm don't remember the numbers for the code but is it possible the gauge is whats throwing it. thanks

Not sure, but I suppose it's possible. I'm just curious as to why you didn't just wire it into the "accessory" circuit inside the car?
