Default Looking for a affordable scanner,,, and basic tuning would be a bonus....

My car is sending out codes,, I need to get a scanner to check it, I was thinking about doing some basic tuning,, I dont have any real engine mods, I might get into intake and throttle body in a few yrs from now,, but I dont want a expensive system. I want something super affordable. I would assume a system that could hook to my laptop would be cheaper then a handheld one but ive been wrong before,, does anyone know where I should look? ive read some stickys and it all looks greek to me with soo many choises. What would be a good starter tuner with scanner.
