Default Adjusting ECU for 2 pulse per rev VSS

I'm running a Dakota Digital VSS on my munual trans 05 5.3 LM7 with DBW. I'm having trouble with the cruise control surging the TB between wide open throttle and completely closed. I'm told it may be due to the VSS I'm using.
The DD VSS is 2 pulse per rev instead of the standard 17 or 40 pulse.
Is there any way to adjust the ecu (EFI Live or HP Tuners) to read the correct speed and hopefully fix the problem before I get whiplash?

OK, update, the tune is dead on with speed (mph) and stable. Any ideas on what to check next?

My EFILIVE tune program has hard limits at 10 minimum.
Have you talked to DD about this??

I see only 1 sender, and it's putting out 8K.
What speedo are you using?

The vss seems to be working correctly, the speed is correct and stable. I've heard some software has a wider range for tuning the vss signal. I'm beginning to think it's not the vss.
Anyone know if the sensitivity or action of the DBW TB is different from auto to manual trans? The engies was from an auto and I'm running a Muncie.

Pulse per mile is not high enough for the ecu to get stable readings. I'm adding a vss that will run off the trans 39 tooth reverse gear.
