Maf help please!!!

i recently bought a 84mm slp maf for my 02 ss and my tuner told me it was junk and to get rid of it and put a maf off of a 6.0L pickup! does this sound right? Any help is greatly appreciated

Run whichever one is cheaper. They both will work just fine. You won't see any real difference in performance if tuned properly.

I bought a new 85MM screened MAF off Ebay. Its used on GM trucks and cost $35 bucks shipped.

I just dialed it in with my HP Tuners. I found my car ran better with the screened MAF than unscreen.
