Default PCM Help

I need a little clarification on some part numbers for my PCM. I was told it was from a 2003 Silverado 2500 6.0 VIN U.
I have a friend that works at a GM dealer. He was able to run the VIN and told me the part number for the PCM should be 12602802. My PCM has 2802 printed on it where the blue connector plugs into.
However, it also has stickers that say Serv. No. 12576106 and Hdw. No. 12570558. I did a little digging and found that the 2802 part number is for 2006 vehicles and that the 6106 is for 2003 vehicles.

What if any difference is there between them? Do they use the same pinout?

Second, I went to AllData website and the PCM part number they give for a 2003 2500 6.0 VIN U is 89017733. My friend told me that is an old number that was changed to 12581565. When I searched that number I came up with either a v6 s10 motor or a 8.1 diesel.

Does anyone know if these pinouts are the same or not?

Basically, I just want to make sure that I start out with the right pin locations.

Thank you for time, any help is very appreciated.

So all I would need to do is reflash the computer according to the pcm part number and pinout that I got from AllData?

Please forgive me for asking noob questions, this is the first time I will try to wire a harness for a motor swap (cash is a little tight) and I just want to get my facts straight before I jump into things. This site has alot of great info and I appreciate any and all help.
