Change from HP tuner to a freely programming controller Hi guys,
i want to change from the original controller programmed with HPto a free programmable controller.
What is the best easiest possibility (connection, programming, free chanels,..)with a blown C5? Fast/EFI, Halltech,...

First question I would have is, why? Are you going to be making that much power? If not, it's hard to beat the OE controller. Plus, you won't have all the communications issues you'll have going standalone.
I would do everything you can to keep the stock controller. Especially in a Corvette. Too many other issues will arise going to a standalone. Plus, you should be able to achieve your HP goals no problem with the OE controller.
