Default P0102 and P0601 codes

The car is an 06 TT GTO, cam but stock block. I drove it to dinner and parked it for about an hour with no overheating per factory gauge. Started it and waited for traffic to clear before I could pull out, the car shut off just like I had turned the key off. The dash flashed protection mode. After 20 seconds or so I started it and made it around the corner before it shut off again. It started again and I was able to ease it back to the house with no power over 1500 rpm. The p0102 is a mass airflow but it was tuned out with the sd tune. The other is Control Module Read only Memory.
Has anybody had any experience like this or does anybody have thoughts as to what the issue could be?
Thanks.

If your tune is SD, then P0102 confirms it (when PCM sees this DTC it ignores the MAF).

Default Thanks for responding!

Can the p0601 code have anything to do with the car doing what it did.
I guess I am trying to decide if I have to flash the tune and reinstall it or is this something else.

I don't know but I don't think P0601 resulted from what the car did... if anything it would be the other way around.

This is the closest I could find to 2006 GTO at short notice: http://www.gearchatter.com/viewtopic11718.php

I think you are right. I think I have narrowed it down to something that happens when the car heats up. It runs fine cold but if you let it idle until it comes up to temp. it shuts off. Pcm bad, maybe but I would not think so. The voltage could have been a little low at start up but I am reaching here.
