Usually they are left alone till the car is cammed, but ask the tuner what he recommends.

It is better to leave it alone for the tuner because it is easier to dial in your MAF w/ the screen on.

I have a 1998 Z28 LS1, I installed a 76 mm turbo kit with a .609 lift cam. I am having a hard time finding a proper tune for the ECM. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

There isn't a "proper tune" for that you're just going to find. Either learn how to do your own proper tune with a product like HP Tuners or EFI Live or have a professional tuner do it. And describing your cam with just the lift # doesn't mean much. BTW this is a 5 year old thread you are asking your question in.
