Low speed surge
Low speed surge I got a 2007.5 NBS 2500hd with the 6.0 and 6 speed auto. The truck has a low speed surge when the engine is under load. If your cruising down the highway with the cruise set and you hit a hill you will feel the truck surging roughly 200-300 rpm, once it down shifts it stops. It also does this during light acceleration sometimes. I have hptuners and have no real clue how to tune. My question is, is there something in the pcm that I can change to fix this?
It's the ETC opening and closing. My 1500 does the same thing. Don't think there is much you can do to stop it. Although, I never tried to stop it either. Any change would likely be in the cruise control tables.
