new to tuning with hp tuners i have the opportunity to buy hp tuners. i run an 04 5.3 in stock trim in an 85 swb. i've been thinking about putting a cam in, but i'm curious about the tuning.
how did you guys learn to tune? is it something you can tweak with and learn little by little or is there another good way to learn? when i put my engine in, the gear ratio didn't get adjusted either, so i was looking to do this rather than pull the computer and send it out. just trying to get a feeler if i'm over my head. i'm not a real gearhead, but i am familiar with industrial PLC's. i know they are peas and carrots.
