Default LC-1 wiring question

I have a LC-1 w/b in my car. What is the bare silver wire? It's not mentioned anywhere in the instructions that I can find.

I have a red=ign 12v
blu= heater grnd
whi=system grnd
yel= analog output 1(narrow band)
brn=anaglog output 2(wideband) goes to my gauge
blk=calibration wire

In the instructions they say there can be 7 wires but the other one is green which is an analog ground which I don't have.

There is no mention of a bare silver wire.

Thanks for any help.

Usually a bare wire is a ground. I believe it's the analog ground.

From Innovate's forum:

The metallic wire is ONLY there on the 6-wire version where it is system ground and analog out ground. The 7-wire version has system ground (white) and analog out (green) separate.
