Default Can losing PCM sync with datamaster indicate a bad PCM?

This is for the 95 Z28 in my sig.

I actually was getting DTC 13 (driver's side O2 malfunction) and I went to swap the O2s (driver's side to passenger side and vice versa) to see if the DTC code would change (bad O2) or stay the same (wiring issue). I also did check the wiring from the O2 wiring to the PCM and got infinite resistance even with the engine warm (wtf?)

Now I'm not getting a trouble code at all and I do have a "new" PCM and it also keeps losing sync with datamaster every 9 or so seconds.

Datamaster is kinda buggy it seems. Mine does the same thing on every car I use it on. PITA.

Did you set your car type?
If you use the Corvette settings it works but sync problems are common.
Set F-Body car and try again.

A few sync errors are normal, many are not

No matter what settings, mine starts and stops. Yes, one vehicle may do it more than another, but the problem persists. I'm kinda used to it. It only sucks when it does it in the middle of a dyno pull.
