I need some LS1Edit advice. I am thinking about getting my firehawk tuned with LS1edit, but here is the problem, I just have a Lid and all the basic bolt on mods plus im about to get 4.10 gears put in, the problem is i heard LS1edit is only good to unleash power if you have a cam, headers or more "powerful" mods. Now I reallly dont plan on getting headers and/or cam for quite a while so "would LS1edit be worth paying a couple hundred bucks to tuned on a car without headers or a cam"? I could really use some input from those people who have done this on an almost stock setup.

To start with LS1Edit is $550 and you need a logging software with a notebook. So you can spend about $1000 for the setup. You could buy a hypertech for around $160 that would let you change the rear end ratio and a few other changes. Unless you are going to do other mods I would not spend the dollars IMP.
