Lightbulb Need major help!!!!

I need help with a base tune for my car. i have the hp tuners pro software but don't have the afr meter yet. I have an 2001 camaro with a 6 speed. Headers cam (238 240 605 609 on a 112 lsa.) 4.10 gears. stock injectors, 85mm maf and throttle body. I just need help getting started until i can really learn this tuning software. I've been reading and reading but i'm saving to attend the tuning class. I can't keep driving like this. It feels like i'm driving a race car. Not a street car. I'll even pay for a tune if you can send me the file. I just can't send my pcm off. Cause it's my daily.

with yours being a 01 i would recomend it being an 01-02 on mine i copied the ve table the timing tables pe table and mass air table but make sure it is the same size and brand mass air or it might throw it way off i just used this stuff as a starter tune once you play with the tuner you will get mor comfortable with it its a lot to take it

Thanks and did you have to tune off any thing for it to read properly. I read something about if you don't turn off the map or something, it messes with your tune.

you can actually get driveabilty without a wideband. you just have to watch your o2s and do your adjustments based off the voltages. I had a wideband but i know this is how some do it and i personally watched madz28 tuner do this on my bros car when we took it to get tuned so i know it works. their are some writeups on here and at hptuner.com that explain it better
