Alternator I don't drive the car that much.I went to the track and I only ran 12.44@115MPH.I have stage3 H/C 92mm fast intake and throdle body to. It machs 440HP and 400TQ at the wheels,Here is my problem it should run 11.80 or better but I can here my Alternator working to charge my battery. do you think if my battery is up and I disconnect my Alternator just when I run the 1/4 mile. Do you think this would help.Please help me don't know whats the problem

Do you see any voltage drop at take of or down the track? Is the alternator on its way out? Have you done the big 3? you dont want the fuel pump to get less voltage and cause you to go lean down the track.

If you can't shift at high RPM then this is proably your problem. I think you are missing a few MPH but that could be due to heat/humidity right now.
