erratic starting issue

erratic starting issue guys i have a holden ss l98 Manuel Ute E38 ecm with starting issues
some time when you go to start after you depress the clutch
and turn the key
it just clicks and wont start
some times it clicks a few times then starts
some times it fine ??
things we have done are
NEW BATTERY
NEW STARTER MOTOR
NEW KEY
NEW TUNE
NEW OS SYSTEM
VAT RELEARN
ANTY THEFT RELEARN
CLUTCH RELEARN
TURNED THE CLUTCH SENSOR OFF IN THE TUNE
it doesn't throw a code very often but when it does its PO 513
unknown immobilizer key
any one had a similar problem
thinking about a new ecm ??

I just spent the las two weeks fighting this issue with my new build. Turned out it was a ground strap from the firewall to the back of my cylinder head. Does it seem like its shorting when it won't turn over? If so, you can turn the lights off and try and see a spark when it shorts. Thats how I found mine. Good luck

thanks mate ill have look there i have gone over the earths that i can find in the engine bay but there every where so not shure ive got um all
shorting in way it just clicks and the dash lights do dim a bit
