LS1 swap part throttle miss

LS1 swap part throttle miss Need some help, I just installed a ls1 in Toy. land cruiser. engine starts and idles and will run up to about 1500 rpm, anymore rpm and the engine will surge, sounds like shut of then key the turn back on before the engine stops turning over. Has an off road tune i was told, I am using MAF. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say check the MAF and see if its dirty or replace it my car did the same thing then the dyno i was at unplugged it and i gained 50 horse and the miss was away. so to start off i would just unplug it and see what it does.
