Any idea's?
Any idea's? So I have a 2 resistor serial cable hooked to my desktop that I extended to reach my car from inside the house. My laptop only has USB, so I did that to accomodate the situation.
Anyhoo. I am using (trying to use) freescan. It comes on says ready and when I start communications it is showing that it is sending and receiving information.
It will say onildle- idle header recognized then after a few seconds it will start saying unrecognized header the it will say it is forcing shut up to ECU.
At this point in time I am merely trying to pull DTC codes. I could figure out what the problems are, but I would really like to know the codes. I will be checking this very often so any info would be greatly appreciated!
