Question Ls1 Edit-should I?

I have a 2002 Camaro SS M6 with only suspension mods. Will LS1 EDIT be worth getting now or should I just wait until I make future mods? I plan on getting some sort of power adder within this year but I am indecisive on what I want--Nitrous, Supercharger, or head/cam package. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Before you get LS1Edit I would check out HPTuners. If you go with LS1Edit you will need a logging software(EFILive or Autotap). Of course you will need a notebook. That will cost about $1000 or more (depends on cost of notebook). If you go with HPTuners it will cost about $500 plus the notebook. The logging software comes with HPTuners. They will be shipping in about a week or so. Check them out. I would have gone with them if I didn't already have EFILive and LS1Edit.

LS1Edit would not give you much gain until you do more mods.

Good luck.

Stock cars can definitely benefit from tuning; they're pretty rich from the factory, around 11.8 or 11.9.

I'm not sure what sort of scanning software comes with HP's product, but I wouldn't use anything but EASE. Especially since you can tune your car without the need for dyno tuning (plus EASE delivers real world driving torque values), and no need to purchase wide-band O2s either (instead of dynoing). If you compare an EASE/LS1 Edit combination, and the money you save by not needing a wide-band setup or multiple dyno sessions, it seems the money you're saving by going with HP is illusory, unless their scanning software is EASE. JMHO.
