Default Drive to Dyno-Tune

Hey guys, I recently picked up a M6 2000 SS and the modifications are about to start. It already has the SS package including SLP Lid and cat-back. My friend from UPS dropped off LT Headers and ORY and my LS6 intake should be here by the end of the week. My question is once i have spent the entire weekend installing all of these lovely parts, Is it safe to drive the car to a speedshop so it can be dyno-tuned? Im figuring the drive is going to take between 1-2hrs depending on the shop i decide on. Second based on some of your opinions and experiences should i keep my descreened MAF or pickup the SLP 85mm MAF. Ive heard its harder to tune the SLP and the stock is fine. Like most im trying to squeeeze out a few extra ponies . Let me know what you guys think, also if u want just so i can get excited what do you think it will put down on the dyno?

You'll be okay with those mods. Stay with stock MAF.

Thanks Bene, any reason for staying with the stock MAF other than what Ive been told, difficulty in tuning?
