Warm start, needs throttle?
My car starts and idles when cold no problem. As soon as it warms up if I shut it off and restart I have to give it a little throttle for a few seconds or it will die out and not idle. It does idle low IMO about 600rpm. No codes. I had the place that built my harness "do a mail order tune". Is this the problem? Its a stock lq4 with hot cam, headers, and 4l80e with 3200 stall. Other then the idle issue it runs great and I drive it almost daily. Thanks

Often I see this problem is caused by to much cranking fuel. Alot of people chase air but its not always the case. Actually its hardly ever the case. Think of it as trying to start an old carby car that's warm with the choke on.

So I need a tune then? It's starting to really bother me. I am about to put it for winter so maybe I will pull the pcm and send it to someone that knows what they are doing, like Frost.
