WOT LTFT question when using Predator
Simple question... how long should I be going WOT before taking the data with a Predator?
Examples:
1. As soon as the pedal hits the floor.
2. 3 seconds after the pedal hits the floor
3. (Insert seconds) after the pedal hits the floor
Examples:
1. As soon as the pedal hits the floor.
2. 3 seconds after the pedal hits the floor
3. (Insert seconds) after the pedal hits the floor

As soon as you go WOT your LTFT's will lock at a set percentage (which should be 0.00%) and stay there. They shouldn't change at all until let up on the gas. HTH.

I don’t think so. I believe (and someone please correct me if I’m wrong) that your WOT LTFT's are “set values” from your Power Enrichment tables, separate from the closed loop cruise LTFT’s. But, at WOT tip-in, the PCM will reference your cruise LTFT's to see if the car needs additional fuel ON TOP of whats called for in the open loop WOT fuel table.
In other words, if you're running lean enough that your cruise LTFT's are over, say, +2%, the PCM will add an additional 2% fuel during WOT.
