Default 2010 Camaro VSS issue (ideas?)

Trying to get speedometer to work in 4l80 conversion. Using optishift standalone, which has a 0-5v square wave output for VSS.

I have it wired to the VSS hi on the pcm, but it isn't reading anything. (There is a vss hi and low wire)

Is there anything else I need to do to make this vss style work with the factory pcm? Ground the lo wire? Wire the signal out to both wires? I don't even know where to start. Car runs/drives fine, tach works, etc. Just no speedo, since no VSS input. Help.

Dumb solution: There are two identical gray/black wires in the harness. I simply had the optishift out going to the wrong grey/black wire. Works fine now, with VSS simulated output set to 0.410 pulses. Cheers

Drives great, even untuned. I couldn't be happier. Big stall eats up all the bad manners of a huge engine/cam/compression. Can't wait to get to the tuner
