My question is simple, i used the hypertech hand held on the car before, do i have to revert it to stock with the hypertech before plugging in the HP tuners? im guessing i do but i would like not to since it takes about 2 hours to do this, i guess the hypertech is really slow.

 

Nope! In fact you can leave your Hypertech tune in the car. Use Hp Tuners to pull out a copy of the Hypertech tune. Copy the Hypertech tune to your computers desktop using Hp Tuners. Now load your stock tune back in the car using the Hypertech unit so your can sell that POS. Copy your stock tune to your computer desktop using Hp Tuners. Then reload the copied Hypertech tune back into the car. You will be able to have you stock tune for comparison as a reference of WHAT was changed by Hypertech in case you want to adjust further or remove some of their changes...AND you get to sell that Hypertech POS. A win-win for a tuning noob imo...
