IS this LEGAL?!? hp tuner question

as i mentioned before i copied the hypertech tune that i used to have on my VCM with HP tuners. I was going to upload it to the repository but i dont know if thats really a good idea.

i would think so since Hypertech did the research and development for the tune and would probably not be very happy if it were out there up for grabs

I've seen our tunes uploaded in various places. If you choose to sell a tuner, that can be flashed to a PCM, you have to expect that it can and will be read out at some point in the future.

Think about it this way, the entire repository is full of tunes that GM developed, nobody seems too concerned about sharing that info
