Default check engine light will not work! why???

is there a bulb that can be changed that I'm not seeing??

my check engine light doesnt come on at all. any suggestions?

It is not a bulb. It is an LED that is soldered to the circuit board behind the cluster. I repaired one on an automatic car one time after an idiot crushed the SES LED with a pair of pliers. I unsoldered the damaged one and the one for Skip Shift since it wasn't being used and moved it to the SES position. It requires some de-soldering and soldering skills.

pretty rare that a LED would go out isnt it?

how do you get the cluster apart to solder it?

Once you get the cluster out of the car it is easy to see how it comes apart.
