code 0704

code 0704 first,i went from auto to 6spd and deleted the reverse lock out,the skip shift solenoid,and the clutch pedal position switch. with the clutch switch i just tied the two wires together and deleted the switch entirely,thats fine with me i'm old school and believe it or not it's handy. the 0704 code is the monitoring of the switch. can i get that code tuned out? or will that keep it from starting? can i just pull the wire in the wiring loom or will that code me again? it's a monitor circuit thats giving me the code . any help would be truly appriciated.
