Default gauge cluster problem

so i have a 1998 trans am an had some more work done at a shop (very well known shop, but not naming names) an after the car was finished my radio, milage display and trunk release no longer work. and im not certain if my dummy lights on the cluster itself work either. i didnt notice that these things didnt work until months after the work was done since i never drive the car so dont really wantto go bitching at the shop. if anyone has any ideas please let me know. i have another pcm that im going to try an will check the wiring harness down by the pass. kick panel to make sure it got plugged in all the way. other then those two things i am completly stumped. thanks

Have you checked all of your fuses? Dont know what kind of work you had done but it sounds as if someone may have accidentally shorted a circuit and could have been unaware that this happened. In any case a blown fuse is the first place to start looking.

well problem is fixed. had a bad connection at the pwr accessory fuse. put a new connector on it and everything works again. so if you dont want to rack up miles just pull that fuse.
