Default Question about the air injection pump

I am putting my 01 Z-28 up for sale. I put the stock PCM back in after pulling the big injectors and some and other performance parts. I forgot I had the air pump deleted when the tune was done. The stock PCM still has it, so I occasionally get a service engine code. I am not excited about paying to just have that changed in the PCM. I also don't look forward to re-installing the hoses that run to both exhaust manifolds. I am wondering it I just re-install the pump and hook up it's electrical connector, if that will do? Thanks

I think it does a test using the O2 sensors, but I could be wrong...

I was affraid of that. I guess my choices are re-install or pay for a complete tune just to get that deleted.
