Default Scan only questions

im looking for a scanner. i have been interested in efis v1 since its laptop based. thats a plus for me. but i cant decided which to get. iv searched and theres a bunch of threads from 05-08. not sure if they still apply now. also iv been looking at the innova 3140. not bad for 200 but if efi v1 is that much better i wouldnt mind spending the extra. 500 for the v2 is highly unlikely for me. i dont want to tune just have dtc read/clear see live data **** like that.

I sent a pm but efi live is the most powerful gm scanner. Gm tech 2 can do some things efi live can't but efi live can do some things the tech 2 can't. Also efi is a fraction of the cost. Snap on has a good scanner but again price comes into play. Do a search on here most people agree with me.

I ended up just going with an innova 3130. It works for now I'll get a better one if I ever need to.
