Hey guys
I apologize if this has been asked before. My search button doesn't work with the slow internet here in Afghan. Tried searching via google but didnt turn anything helpful up.
Setting my '99 Trans Am up for autocross. Ive already got the majority of my suspension parts ordered. Just trying to see whether or not I should get a dyno tune or just order a nice pair or tires for the front to match the rears.
Mods are:
TSP 1 3/4 headers
TSP catted Y
SLP LM1
Shraner s3 throttle body
LS6 intake
SLP lid
My question is, what will my gains and total WHP typically look like with these mods? I know you can't give me an exact number, just looking for a ballpark of untuned whp vs. tuned whp.
Car is an a4, 68k miles, and will be tunes by Finish Line Performance out of Illinois

I have seen cars pick up 10-15 peak rwhp with the right tuner with those kinds of mods. I have seen cars get the biggest gains down low throughout the RPM range, sometime tq gains have been as high as 30 from what I remember.

I wont be able to tell you exactly what youll pick up but overall you should be about 335-340rwhp maybe a tad less or more but not by much at all. Saying closer to 335 since your an A4.

I would be happy with 335-340 wheel. Hoping that can get me to my intended mid 12 mark with my suspension mods. That would hold me over until heads/cam are attainable.
