EFI Live basic help God I miss LS1 edit and auto tap. I have the version with the software and the little hand held thing. Realy basic crap here.
I need to log a file on the car and get some basic info on it. Pull a file and then program it.
Do I hook a laptop up to it or do I use that little hand held deal?
When I pull a file out of the ECM and program it is it with the little hand held thing?
They have these little orange jumpers things do I need them or not?
Not really sure what the deal is with this hand held thing, it throughing me off.
That and everytime I try to load the software I get window 32 error or some ****, I can probable seach for that though.

Hi Bro,
If you have FlashScan V2 (the handheld thingy) you can log and flash without a laptop in the vehicle...
The orange jumpers are for analog connection to your wideband; V2 also supports serial comms connection to certain widebands (that have serial comms ports).
Come to the efilive forum and we'll sort out your problems (forum dot efilive dot com ).
(you will need to update the V7 and V8 software, and flash in newer firmware into your, we'll show you how to do all that).
