Default Okay, how is this suppose to work on the dyno?

I've got access to a Mustang Dyno to do the tuning for my car, but I am confused on how it will work. I have to plug the dyno into my OBDII port, so I can't log. What am I missing?

They must be pulling the RPM signal off of the OBDII - you will need a splitter...

He was saying he could just do a pick up off a coil, but that it wasn't as good as using the OBDII port.

He's right, but I don't understand why a shop wouldn't have one of these if they are going to do that... they are only $23...
