Scanner won't read my codes...
They tested it on three other cars and the menu came up fine on everyone but mine..
This seems to be a major problem if I can't even pull the codes from the PCM... any ideas anyone?

Car is a 2000 SS.
if the car is fine, you wont have any codes.
I reset the PCM to reset the SES light.. it came back on right away. I know I have some for sure codes.. being EGR... AIR... and rear 02 sensors.
The point was.. the scanner wouldn't even access the main menu when plugged into my car. Yet on cars that weren't throwing any codes and such it would come right up.
the OBD-2 port, and the ciggarette lighter share a fuse, and if the scanner woudl not power up, its very common for the ciggarette lighter to blow the fuse, and the scanner won't have any power.
