Is is ok to make changes on the fly at the track. Do I have to wait 50 miles or so forthe tune to set it or is it ok to run it hard after flashing the computer

I flashed mine twice the last time I was at the track.
The only stuff that needs 50miles to settle in is fuel trims, emissions monitors, adaptive shift times, maybe one or two other "learning" funtions. Timing, PE, and WOT shift point changes are immediate.

you'll be fine flashing on the fly... only concern i'd have with flashing on the fly is if you lose connection w/the PCM thus killing it (requires ripoffputing er carputing or a dealership to reflash the PCM) ... that's why I always carry a spare PCM with me whenever I flash the PCM while I'm not at home.. (i already killed my PCM once but fortuanetly i was at home... cost me 50 bux to fix at a dealership... if I had HPTuners it wouldn't have been a problem though)
