what should may air fuel ratio be
hi, i have a 02 trans am ls1 with all the bolt ons. i just installed some new gauges and my air fuel ratio is at 14.60. i have a mail order tune and just wanted to make sure thats within specs. can someone that has experience let me know if its ok.

It depends on preference. I set mine to run at stoich once its warmed up (14.62 here.)
So there is startup enrichment, and once it's warmed up it leans out a little and runs at 14.62. Dialing my PE (POT) in now to 13. Should richen up a tad on WOT.
But yours sounds like it's dialed in the same.

As for what the numbers should be (when using a wideband sensor/guage) on a bolt-ons car, 14.5-14.9 is target range for idle and part throttle. When the engine is under load and power enrichment kicks in, 12.7-13.0 is target range. Higher numbers are leaner and you don't want to go leaner than 13 at WOT.
