2012 Camaro SS tune???

2012 Camaro SS tune??? Let's start by sayin thanks up front for information and opinion on this question. 
My dad just picked up a 2012 Camaro SS convertible with an automatic. He had mentioned that it doesn't get out of the whole to good, kinda bogs down then takes off. He's not really looking for more power just to improve the response of the transmission. Can a tune address these issues? I have a C5 vette and I know the auto guys report fair gains with respect to shift points, TQ management and the like.

Corvette Camaro GTO GM truck performance tuner in Tampa Im also a sponsor on the Camaro5 forum as a Tuner in Tampa.
Ive done a ton of the Gen5s. Great running cars after a tune. If you have an Automatic, no matter how long you wait to tune them, after the tune you'll wonder why you waited to long. lol

Tampa Tuning Camaro Corvette CTS-v GTO GM Trucks performance tuning I hate to say it, and im happy for the business, but 90 % of my clients have to A6 transmission.
When I get a manual to tune, its like a little ray of sunshine lol
The A6 transmission are very well developed transmission, but GM has taken the effective fun out of them. Im a through and through manual guy, but after a tune, I love the 6l80/90 transmission.
