banging exhaust pulling timing. My tuner tuned my timing at 21 which normally is 20.5 on hp tuners. After installing cats I lost 2-3mph in the quarter. The timing goes from 20.5 to 19 on hp tuners in first gear but recovers by second gear. This is secondary to banging exhaust. My tuner initially told me any knock that my car would ever see would be false because my car is tuned for nitrous. Just wondering if a .5 to .8 knock could slow the car. Is this real if I'm seeing it on Hp tuners?
