Engine Swap. Engine cranks But wont start.

Default Engine Swap. Engine cranks But wont start.

I built my self a ls1 With Mahle pistons MS4 cam and TFS215 heads. Took me about 2 weeks to get it all done.
then finally got around to putting the engine back in the car.
Tried to turn on the car but it cranks.... but wont seem to start.
Fuel - Check ( there fuel going to the lines didn't check the pressure tho.)
Spark - Doesn't get spark.
PCM - Not sure. My HP tuners seems not to be able to reconize my cars ODB2.
BUT does get power when I connect it to the ODB2 slot. ( So i say there is power...)
Another note when I use my HP tuners .... its doesn't recognize my ODB2.
(is the PCM fried?)
Or possibly did i miss connecting a sensor and thats causing the car not want to send spark to the plugs?

Check all your grounds especially the ones on the back of the driverside head

Check fuel pressure at the rail, check the crank position sensor and your grounds. Did you get all the grounds on the back of the heads ?
When I swapped my motor I left the crank sensor unplugged and had no spark but my hp tuner connected to the OBD2 port. That's how I found the sensor... Low voltage, crank sensor.

Not sure about the obd2 not working but i would go over all the plugs and grounds first.

grounds are verified. there all in place and i even upgraded to 4 gauge wire. just in case.
turned out the PCM was fried.......
i tried a buddies PCM and the car turned on with no problems.....

Turns out it was the PCM.
Friend came over and we swapped PCM's and car turned on right away.
But i do appreciate the help.

most welcome.. I see that you found the pcm was fried. How long did it take to drop the pan and change it????

I have purchased an LS1 corvette engine with computer and wiring harness that was connected to a manual transmission. My donor car is a 98 s10 that had a 4cylinder and auto transmission. I have also purchased a 4L65e for my project. Question: can I convert the wiring harness and computer to use the gauge cluster that is in the truck?

If the car was equipped w/ the optional blinker fuid injector pcm, then the engine pcm would be in the headliner!!
