Default ls3 timing question

i have a cammed ls3 and its been running pretty good, but i was just running the base timing map for a 450 horsepower ls2,..i looked at the values after a data log and realized at wide open throttle im at 39 degrees total timimg and cruising im at 35 degrees timing, i feel like that is a hell of alot of total timing

I know in HP Tuners it also references other timing tables depending on other values. This will subtract and add to the table where needed. If you can watch real-time with your software I'm sure you'll see this affect the total timing.

You have it backwards, because that table is aligned differently.

At WOT, you are most likely in the upper two rows (98 and 105 kPa). And up to 6500 rpm you are hitting a max of 24.0* of timing.

The uppder 30s * of timing you see down at the bottom is for light load cruise only, when going full throttle you will be in the upper right hand corner of the table.
