I have 2006 Z51 Corvette(Ls2)... I bought the car 2yrs ago. The guy i bought it from told me it had right under 500rwhp. I asked him what was done to the car and he said "cam, full exhaust, cold air and tune. He did mention that it was built by LME and tuned by LMR. I was a little curious about what the cam specs and Dyno numbers were so i gave LMR a call, they have no records of the car or the guy who sold it to me. What my question is, can this car really put out that much HP with those mods? Does it have head work?

 

It sucks not knowing the mods of your own car!!! lol

 

Why dont you just go put it on a dyno and see what its doing.

Little too late now but that's what receipts are for. Especially if I was spending the dough you did on that car, I'd want receipts showing what all was done to it.

That or you should have called LME and LMR before you bought it, not after.

As far as your issue, you could turn it back to stock I suppose so you start at square one.

 

LS2s put out 400 to the crank. 500 rwhp is doable with cam and boltons only but you will surely be able to hear it in the exhaust note because that will have to be one huge cam. What does the car sound like?
