Default 0411 or 2003+ pcm for my setup. Advice needed.

Ok after doing some research over the last week i think its time to post up and seek some advice. I have an '05 6.0 junkyard motor, came DBC and staying that way 'cuz im old school like that, that's going to be backed by a th400 and force fed thru a BWs480. The savages at the junkyard cut the harness to pull the motor so i sourced the needed blue/green connectors and will be modding to a standalone harness based on some great info on lt1swap.com. I'll also be purchasing efilive or hptuners.
My question is

0411 pcm (512kb, why is this desirable)?
I know its a red/blue pcm but it has DBC ability and my harness can be made to work.

2003+ pcm (i've read they are 1mb, would this be better, why)?
I know I'll need one with IAC drivers and have pcm service #'s of the ones that will work
http://www.lt1swap.com/inj_maf.htm

I'll need an SD tune 2-3 bar map. Will i be able to do what i want with the newer pcm and above mentioned software?

I know this is probably like asking "what the f*ck is the internet?" and theres an obvious answer but any help would be appreciated.

Well, I know it isn't directly answering which, the reason you want more space is so that you can have more fuel tables... this becomes even more important for boost referencing for fuel delivery, additionally (again, not sure on these...) some computers won't even read past a certain spot. So you'll keep boosting, but they're still only reading say... 1.5 or 2 bars worth of pressure.

Thanks. That definitely makes sense. Does anyone know of a reason why a blue/green pcm wouldn't be ideal as long as it had the IAC drivers? Am I over thinking this just because I always see people recommending the 0411?

Not all the 2003+ PCMs have a 3 Bar OS available, some of them only 2 BAR.
411s have 3 bar capability for most of them.

2003+ are a little better, but not a significant advantage. I'd go with either one which supports 3 Bar OS
