lm-1 rpm hookup

i just received my aux. cable for the lm-1 and couldn't tell off the top how to hook the rpm input (non-inductive) to the pcm.

any help would be appreciated

To hook it up, you run a wire from the tach signal wire on the pcm to the 'RPM' screw. As far as configuring it, I don't know, I was just getting ready to make a post askign about that part ;). At the track tonight mine was thinking I was running 10k rpm for just about the entire run....

i found the rpm pickup worked on my vw's - negative coil discharge. So it might not be looking for a digital ecu signal. or maybe they have two modes or something.

I'm assuming that wire isn't labeled or easily recognizeable as the tach signal.. wouldn't happen to know which wire (tach signal wire on the pcm) that is would you.. maybe a link of some schematic or something..

thanks for the response and once connected I'll be sure to update on the configuration part..
