I'll start off by saying its my buddies car. And that he told me his security system isn't working. So I went over terr and turned the key, nothing happens on the gauges. At all. I grounded one of the pins on the starter relay( the front most passenger side pin) and it started and fired, but would not stay running. Even after this none of the gauges worked.
He told me this started happening after his hook flew open and busted the front window shield. He drove it home and parked it. And since then the cars dash gauges will not do anything or it won't fire.
I'm going to check all his fuses tody and try the resistor thing with his VATS. I know he has the VATS system #4.

Ignition switch? Your vats will look after itself when you find what is wrong with the key on not powering things up.
