Default Performance mode

So doing a little bit of tunning I notice their is a performance mode on hp tuner has anyone done the performance mode switch and does it do anything special I know u have to 2 Wire a momentary ground switch to pin J1-71 on the PCM (the blue connector) to trigger it

Yes I would like to know about this also being my new motor is out would be easiest to wire now.

I think it's like performance shift but I'm not sure i was trying to see if the experts on here know and have done it

It's however you tune it.
There are two sets of trans tables in the pcm .
Both can be customized to suit you.

I put the switch in my car and upped the line pressure
in lower areas that would be annoying all the time.
No TCC and shifts quite late. So I hit the switch the converter unlocks and
it drops down a gear. If that fails to make enough noise I open the cut-out.

So this is strickly for trans functions or does it allow for say timing advance change say?

just trans functions, EFI LIVE custom OS can do what you just described though
