Rev Limiter problems on 97 C5
Rev Limiter problems on 97 C5 Since I started with LS1 Edit 2 yrs ago, my engine has always hit the rev limiter at around 6600 rpm even though it is set on 7500 now.
I first noticed it if I let the 1-2 shift go to high on N2O. Now I'm going thru the Traps over 6600 rpm with a larger shot and it cuts out before I make it to the end.
I have a 422 with Nitrous. 1st stage is 100 shot single and 2nd stage is TNT Direct Port 200 shot.
I have 50lb injectors and low pressure system for the DP.
Their have been some strange things with the early PCMs and thought maybe someone has run into this.
The car has always ran good if I keep it under 6600 rpm.
