buy a tuner not a power programmer, hp tuners or efi live.

if you want a power programmer because you dont want to learn how to tune you would be better served by a mail order tune done by someone thats tuned a lot of these cars such as tuned by frost

I am sure there is a reputable tuner in your area. No programmers. Unless you want to learn and tune yourself then stated above hp tuners/efi live. But if your looking for something to plug in and load just have it custom tuned by a good tuner.

Programmers/handheld tuners are fine for adjusting small things such as your rev limiter, fan functions, shift firmness, etc., etc. You might see a small power gain from one with one of their generic canned tunes, but it's nowhere near as good as a custom tune. I would put the $250+ into something else more meaningful.

I would go the custom tune route. Back in the days when I joined this site in 02, Hypertech was good. But custom tunes and the level of performance from all the good tuners out there can't be beat by a canned tune.
